Updated US College-Going Tool #CollegeScorecard

The U.S. Department of Education has a number of excellent online tools to guide student and parents about college. The latest one that has been re-purposed is called The College Scorecard.” The tool is great for students because you can put in your area of interest and state(s) where you would like to go to college and then the tool provides results. It is great for parents because they can compare schools and better understand financial aid information.

For example, I tested out looking for a 4-year college for Biological and Biomedical Science programs in California and the result was a list of 74 schools in California.

For each school on the list, there is a quick view of the annual cost, the graduation rate and the salary after attending. In addition, there is additional information about the college.
